  2. Hi Shawn, I got your link over on Jenna's (Cold Antler Farm) blog. Until then, I'd not heard of your work. I love the feel of them, they make me smile inside and out. We are buying a new (old! 1901) farmhouse and you can look for an order from me in the future for a print or two for my kitchen once we're in. Wonderful! ~Vonnie, NH

  5. Looks like my thought isn't original....I too saw your work on the cold antler farm blog, and was frankly too lazy to scroll through 251 comments to leave one and have a chance at winning something. Decided to just come here instead, look around, tell you I love your cards, and now have to decide what to order!

  6. I'm here from Cold Antler too. I'll have to thank Jenna...I love your work and as soon as I get paid, I'll be back. Until then, I'll be deciding which ones to get first!

  7. Shawn, Another Cold Antler Farm reader here. I find your art very different and sort of "homey" and comfortable. Not sure if you will take that the way I mean it but I really like your depictions of local nature and farm life. Wondered if you will ever put together a small collection of these cards to sell? With the cost of commercial cards from local stores being so expensive now, I believe a lot of people would be interested it buying yours to send because then you are also sending the receiver a "piece of art" not just another expensive card to throw away.

  8. Thanks everyone! The response from Jenna's Cold Antler Farm blog has been just amazing!! I've been doing this series of work for about 2 years and will continue because I love the subject matter.

Karen L, I do sell cards, they can all be seen at www.newenglandillustrated.com.

  9. Hi, Shawn. I absolutely love your artwork! The details and colours are amazing! It's something I would like to frame to put in my office to remind me of the "other" world out there beyond the office buildings that surround me. :-)

PS - Just curious why your blog entries don't have any dates...

  10. Thanks Diana! I'm glad you like my work!

I don't update my blog nearly as often as I should, so I don't have dates on there : )

  11. Shawn, Yes, I did see that you sell your cards on your website but wondered if you will be putting together a small pack of maybe 4 to 6 cards to sell instead of just individually? Maybe it doesn't make sense for you to do this since people would, I suppose, want to pick out their own particular designs? Just thinking out loud and wondering.
